On Kohpangan visitors can find typical picture-postcard views of swaying palm trees , bright blue bays and beautiful mountain views You can find the island near the middle of the Samui Archipelago, Kohphangan is ideally located near most popular locations such as Ang Thong archipelago and Koh Nangyuan. Nearby Ang Thong archipelago consists of more than 40 tiny islands, with many pristine beaches and surrounded with crystal clear salt water. The south east part of Koh Phangan is the main party area which includes Had Rin and the fullmoon party beach. Nearly all of the area around HadRin is mountainious making most of the excellent sandy beaches unaccessable by road, the only way to get to them is by longtail boat from Had Rin. Located about 12 miles North of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Siam is the island of Koh Phangan.
